About SupCo Inc.

Superior Companies, Inc., with its home office located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, has been serving the oil, natural gas, aircraft, military and automotive industries since its incorporation in 1929. It has grown to become a leader in the manufacturing and machining community.

Superior Companies, Inc. currently has two divisions in two locations to service its customers. Both facilities contain in-house sales and manufacturing engineering with AUTOCad design and SMARTCam CNC programming. Both divisions are certified to Manufacture’s ASME Code and National Board Repair Stamp (U-R stamps) and have quality control systems in place using ISO guidelines.

The Machine and Fabrication Division, located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, has more than 125,000 square-feet of office, machine and weld fabrication space. The machine shop contains numerous CNC lathes (dia.’s up to 20”), manual lathes (dia.’s up to 21”), manual milling machines, CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines, vertical presses, and horizontal saws. We have one of the largest horizontal milling machines in the area and have vertical milling capacity of 84 inches on the “x” axis, 39 inches on the “y” axis, and 31 inches on the “z” axis. The inspection department is complete with its own gage lab and co-ordinate measuring machine. The fabrication shop has capabilities to weld carbon steel, aluminum, stainless, copper nickel and other ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Fabrication is also jobbed on any of its 15 presses, ranging from 10-ton to 450-ton, and plate rolling to 3/8” x 10-foot. The Bartlesville weld shop specializes in ASME pressure vessels and has two complete paint rooms utilized by both locations

The Manufacturing Division, located in Dewey, Oklahoma, is a 120,000-plus square-feet facility for manufacturing, welding and fabrication. The manufacturing plant has the same capabilities as the Machine and Fabrication Division in Bartlesville. The Dewey location has the ability to handle larger jobs with two 5 ton cranes, 13ft of overhead height available, a railway system for easier handling and sandblast capabilities. Both weld shops have existing weld procedures for a wide range of ferrous and nonferrous metals. It has four W.A. Whitney CNC punch and plasma machines, shear capacities of 3/8” x 10-foot and press brake capacities of up to 16-feet. Like the Bartlesville plant, it can fabricate structures up to 150,000-pounds and has in-house sandblast and paint capabilities.

Superior Companies, Inc. has a compliment of rolling stock for local deliveries of your orders.

Since the combination of the Bartlesville and Dewey facilities in 1999, it has allowed a “team-work” atmosphere so that no matter which location produces a customer’s product, it allows the product to be completed in a competent and reliable manner with quality and on-time delivery in the fore-front.

Superior Companies, Inc. is a privately owned business, as it has been for over 80 years, operated on a day-to-day basis as a family-owned business.
